Asthma Trainings for Schools
A 15-minute training that covers:
- Asthma basics
- Triggers
- Signs and Symptoms
- What to do during an asthma attack
The school receives an:
- Asthma School Resource Manual
The manual was created by the Utah Asthma Task Force in 2004. Those involved included school nurses, Primary Childrens Medical Hospital, the American Lung Association of Utah, University of Utah School of Pharmacy and the Utah Asthma Program.
Teachers receive:
- A laminated General Emergency Protocol for their classroom.
