The Bureau of CSHCN is providing state leadership to bring together the many agencies and advocates who influence the statewide system of services for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families.
Utah Autism Initiative
The Utah Autism Initiative, at the Utah Department of Health, seeks to foster system development and build infrastructure to improve early screening, diagnosis, and treatment of austism spectrum disorders (ASD).
Autism State Plan
The Autism State Plan was developed through a collaborative process with many agencies and organizations across Utah. Please check back for a link to the updated version.
Autism Treatment Account
The Autism Treatment Account was established March 2010 by the Utah Legislature and expanded in 2012 to fund therapy focused on evaluation and treatment of children between the ages of 2 and 6 years old with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Autism Council of Utah
The Autism Council of Utah, with partners from many agencies and organizations, supports collaboration to help families find information and resources that will benefit individuals with ASD.
Utah Registry of Autism and Developmental Disabilities (URADD)
The Utah Registry of Autism and Developmental Disabilities (URADD) monitors and collects information about the numbers of individuals with ASD and other disabilities in Utah.

Families who suspect that thier children might have autism are encouraged to contact their primary care provider (medical home) and ask for a referral to the direct services below for further assessment and diagnosis:
