News & InformationNPI- National Provider IdentifierEffective December 12, 2011 all medical practitioners who prescribe for Utah Medicaid clients must be enrolled as a limited or standard provider to allow the practitioners’ National Provider Identifier (NPI) to be known to Medicaid. Effective December 12, 2011, any pharmacy claim submitted without the prescriber’s Utah Medicaid enrolled NPI will be denied for payment. |
