Phenyl-2-Propanone

General:

There is very little information available regarding Phenyl-2-Propanone toxicity. There are currently no occupational or non-occupational exposure limits for the compound and, other as a clandestine drug precursor, the chemical is not regulated. P-2-P is a liquid at room temperature with a boiling point of 215 degrees C.

The oral toxicity is low and it is slightly irritating to the skin and mucous membranes. Inhalation of the compound may result in generalized symptoms common to odors such as headache, nausea, and dizziness. Very little information is known regarding this compound.
