OPEN WIDE: Oral Health Training for Health Professionals
The National Maternal and Child Oral Health Resource Center OPEN WIDE Web Site
contains a series of four self-contained modules designed for early childhood professionals working in community settings, such as Head Start and WIC.  The information in the modules will assist professionals in promoting oral health in the course of promoting general health for infants, children and their families. The modules present professionals with information abouttooth decay, risk factors, and prevention; explain how to perform an oral health risk assessment and oral health screening; and highlight anticipatory guidance to share with parents.

Dental Health Screening and Fluoride Varnish Application
The Dental Health Screening and Fluoride Varnish Application course is offered by the
University of Minnesota and is presented in eight modules.  The course is designed to take at your computer and takes about one hour to complete.

Bright Futures in Practice: Oral Health Guide
The Bright Futures in Practice Oral Health Guide addresses the oral health needs of children and adolescents from birth to age twenty-one by presenting specific guidelines on current oral health promotion, disease prevention,and other preventive strategies.
