About WESTT

To streamline the MCH block grant submission process, an online web-based system was developed by Data Resources Program, to collect the required data and narratives from state block grant contributors. This customized system was designed to make the coordination and collection of required information more efficient and user-friendly.

This new system, Web-Enabled Systematic Tracking Tool (WESTT), was designed not only to increase efficiency but also to align better with the recent federal MCH Block Grant transformation. The new system architecture and specifications are based on the three-tier framework (NOM-NPM-ESM) within the context of the six population domains as outlined in the new block grant guidance.
